We were one of the first universities to join the Student Minds °µÍø³Ô¹Ï Mental Health Charter Programme and have received the Mental Health Charter Award for 2024, which recognises good practice and commitment to continuous improvement in mental health and wellbeing support.

Julie Spencer, Head of Wellbeing at the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï, was named in the New Years’ Honours list 2024 for her services to education. She was awarded an MBE for being a constant champion of students and for her support of their physical and mental wellbeing.
