Travel Update
Road improvement works are taking place around the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï. The °µÍø³Ô¹Ï remains fully accessible, but you may experience delays due to temporary traffic signals, lane closures, and diversion routes. Please allow extra time for your journey and follow any temporary road signage.

Visitors to our Open Day are welcome to park at the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï’s Boulevard Car Park (LN6 7DQ) for free 7am - 7pm. However, please note that spaces here are limited and tend to fill up quickly, typically by 9.15am. For additional parking on campus, the Joseph Banks Laboratories Car Park (LN6 7DL) is also available 7am - 5pm.
Alternatively, there are several pay-and-display parking options nearby, including discounted parking at Lucy Tower Street (LN1 1XL) and Tentercroft Street (LN5 7DB). We encourage you to plan ahead to ensure a smooth arrival experience. Find out more about .
We are unable to offer EV charging on the day at either of our °µÍø³Ô¹Ï car parks (Boulevard Car Park, LN6 7DQ, and Joseph Banks Laboratories Car Park, LN6 7DL). Alongside course sessions, we'll be running a series of general talks for students and their guests covering topics such as student finance, accommodation, and careers support, helping you get a full picture of university life.
Visit the Information Zone in the Minerva Building to speak to staff from key services including Admissions, Accommodation, Funding Advice, Student Wellbeing, International Office, Careers and Global Opportunities, and our Students’ Union. There are also Information Points located around campus where you can drop in and learn more about the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï’s accommodation, library, and Sports Centre.

A great way to get a feel for student life here at °µÍø³Ô¹Ï is by joining a campus tour led by one of our brilliant Student Ambassadors. Campus tours will take place every 15 minutes throughout the event, starting at 9am. The last tour will leave at 2.30pm. There’s no need to book, just pop along to the Campus Tours stand located near the Isaac Newton Building when you are ready.

Location: Film Studios, Alfred Tennyson Building
Step inside Crime Scenes of Tinsel Town, an immersive experience where you'll investigate iconic TV and film-inspired crime scenes. Hosted by °µÍø³Ô¹Ï alumnus and content creator Brett Harman (Brettflix), you'll examine evidence, solve mysteries, and discover how crime, justice, and storytelling come together. Explore how subjects including Criminology, Forensic Science, Psychology, Law, Film and Media, and Creative Writing lead to careers in criminal justice, forensic investigation, media, and the creative industries.

View our accommodation up close and see where you could soon be calling home. Just use the campus map and then follow the signage to stop by at any point during the event. Our show flats will be open from 9.30am until 3pm.
Need food or a drink during your visit? Campus catering outlets will offer guests 20% off. The Students’ Union Towers Bar will provide 20% off food and drink, and °µÍø³Ô¹Ï Arts Centre will offer 20% off hot drinks and cake. External caterers will also be based on the grass outside °µÍø³Ô¹Ï Arts Centre (LAC), serving snacks and drinks throughout the day. A short walk away, Brayford Pool Marina and the city centre offer a wide range of cafés, restaurants, and bars.

Just a short walk from campus, you’ll find a range of restaurants, cafes, and bars that overlook the beautiful marina area, while in the centre of °µÍø³Ô¹Ï, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the eclectic mix of pubs and entertainment venues. °µÍø³Ô¹Ï also offers a great shopping experience – its high streets and side streets, including the newly developed Cornhill Quarter, are home to a range of independent and boutique stores alongside national brands and chains.
